Dry Nose, Warm Heart!

Bulldog Health: "Dry Nose: Bulldog noses almost always go dry and flakey. Dab some vaseline on the nose 2 or 3 times a day to restore a crusty nose and a couple of times a week to prevent it. The dog will try and lick the vaseline off but enough will soak in to soften the nose again. In severe cases vaseline the nose upto 6 times a day - you'll be surprised at how quickly the nose recovers"

Vaccinations...Needed or Not?

Vaccinations...Needed or Not?: "Listen to what Dr. Pedro Rivera D.V.M. says about vaccines causing chronic disease:
'Vaccinosis is the reaction from common innoculations. Reactions might take months or years to show up. In our practice, we've seen hypothyroidism, ear infections, immune-system diseases, joint maladies, and behavioral prolems as reactions to over-vaccination.' "

Do Not Over Vaccinate!

Vaccinations...Needed or Not?: "Read what Kirk's Current Veterinary Therapy XI -- the veterinarians' bible -- has to say about yearly vaccinations:
'A practice that was started many years ago that lacks scientific validity or verification is annual revaccinations. Almost without exception there is no immunologic requirement for annual revaccination. Immunity to viruses persists for years or for the life of the animal. Successful vaccination to most bacterial pathogens produces an immunologic memory that remains for years.'
That was written by Dr. Tom Phillips D.V.M. Ph.D. and Dr. Ronald Schultz Ph.D., immunologist and Professor/Chairman of the Department of Pathobiological Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin."

--too many vaccinations may lead to immune disorders, consult your vet

Tyson in the News: "'If your idea of a talented pet is that dog on Thats Life who could growl the word Sausages, then think again. Tyson is a bulldog from Huntington Beach, California who can out-skate most humans. The video on this site is extraordinary... Youll see Tyson running with three paws on the tarmac and the fourth steering his skateboard, then as soon as he reaches a decent speed, he jumps up aboard properly, and skates for his life.' "
